| Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are on Mt. Desert Island,
known as 'The Most Beautiful Island in America." It is famous for its
bold coastline and rugged mountains, its dramatic history and for such activities
as biking, sailing, whale-watching, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, bird-watching.
There are day trips to quaint towns nearby. There
are dozens of dining choices that range from lobster on a paper plate to
haute cuisine. |

All our rental properties are in the township of Bar Harbor, not in the
more distant towns. Bar Harbor is the major gateway to Acadia National
Park and, of course, hosts the sights, shops, restaurants and entertainment
of Bar Harbor itself -- known as "The Queen of Resorts."

| We own and operate all the properties; we are not agents for
someone else. This means that we can guide you to the place that best suits
your needs -- whether this means a secluded honeymoon suite overlooking
the Atlantic or a cluster of houses just a chip shot from Famous Kebo Valley
Golf Course. It also means that if you want to add a week
or bring a pet, we can give you
an answer. IMPORTANT: Beginning in 2007, weekly rentals must be certified by the town. All of ours are certified. As you shop among properties, be sure to ask about certification to avoid bad news at the last minute. |

studio apartments in the historic CHALET OF THE BEARS. These are ideal for

All of these are completely equipped and furnished households. The group of three households known as ACADIA VIEW is on the edge of
the downtown, on a dead-end street that looks across to Kebo Valley Golf
Course -- just far enough away to spare the windows! |
| THE DOLLHOUSE is just three blocks from the
Village Green on a residential street that only gets local traffic--a great
location for shopping, dining and other town activities. THE FARMHOUSE offers three bedrooms and two baths. It is in the first suburban cove out from the downtown, just one mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. Every household has beds ready
to sleep at least four and space for cribs
or sleeping bags. Some households have a convertible sofa. All have cable TV, gas grills, DVD, Wi-Fi, laundries and other
