The Dollhouse (Built in 1890) is a quaint, sturdy relic of the high society boom of the gay 90's. The main house is long gone, leaving this little guest cottage at the foot of a garden -- peacefully isolated from the street. The second story offers an eye-filling view of Mt. Cadillac in nearby Acadia National Park. The countrified kitchen is just right for hanging around and the sun porch, which is furnished with wicker, is guaranteed to make weary hikers and sailors feel snug as a cat. |

Leaving your car in the parking bay, you can stroll to every corner of the village of Bar Harbor: to shops, restaurants, cinemas, picnic greens, the harbor and the shore path. You will also be within easy driving distance of world-famous Kebo Valley Golf Course, laid out across mountain meadows by Frederick Law Olmstead (designer of Central Park in Manhattan). Above all, you will find three different entrances into Acadia National Park within two miles of The Dollhouse, which is located at 30 School Street. See map and scroll down to second map. |

There are two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. The downstairs is comprised of a furnished sun porch, a living room/den, a kitchen/dining area and a rear mud room with washer & dryer (and storage space for emptied luggage, bikes, stroller, etc.). The back door from the mud room (and nearby kitchen) opens onto a small, private side yard, where you can cook out on a gas grill. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator and stove, plus a coffee maker and toaster. We provide dishes and flatware, pans and utensils, sheets, blankets and towels. There's cable TV, plus a DVD player. |

Rentals are by the week, Saturday 4 PM to Saturday 10 AM. One-half of the fee is due when the reservation is made; the balance is due 30 days before arrival. If you must cancel, payments will be refunded when we find someone else to take your place. All three units A, B and C are carpeted and have a modern layout with an "island" separating the kitchen from dining and living areas. All feature dishwasher, laundry, wireless internet connections, cable TV, DVD player, and off-street parking. All households have a large lawn with gas grills and picnic tables. The Farmhouse |

Built in the 1800s, this colonial is spacious and comfortable. In 2002, it was totally rewired, repainted and newly furnished. The shaded yard is a pleasant place to barbeque on the grill and relax around the picnic table. Located three miles from downtown Bar Harbor and just a mile from the entrance to Acadia National Park, it has much to offer. It is located near The Chalet of the Bears, as indicated on this map. There is a path off the rear yard that leads to a circular road through the woods with ocean views - great for jogging or walking a dog. |

On the first floor there is a full kitchen with a small table and stools for breakfasting, a full dining room, living room with cable TV and DVD player, full bathroom, small bedroom with queen bed, and an additional shower room.
